Hi folks! I posted this information on the farming and ranching forums but was urged to post here also. We are hosting a seminar that will have a morning and afternoon session. The afternoon session will be more of interest to the majority of folks on this forum.
Speakers will be:

2:00 - Joanne Boudreau, the Herb Lady
3:00 - Malcolm Beck
4:00 Walt Davis
Malcolm will also have copies of his books for sale & signing, including his latest which will have just been printed.

The morning session is very much for horse lovers with an equine/canine chiropractor, electrotherapy specialist and farrier. The chiropractor, Dr. Bill Ormston, will have his books on equine and canine chiropractic care available for sale.

Proceeds after expenses will go to Right Track therapeutic riding program's Chisholm Challenge, a competition for physically/mentally/emotionally challenged kids to be held in January just prior to the Fort Worth Stock Show at Will Rogers Coliseum.

Cost: $20.00 per person for the entire day IF RESERVED IN ADVANCE
$25.00 per person AT THE DOOR

Vendor Booths are available at $25.00 each - 10' x 10' space and must be reserved in advance and paid before Friday, November 12th.

For Reservations: Email to DallasEqTimes@aol.com - or call Kathe Kitchens 469-556-5862 or
DFWEquine@aol.com - Charlene Beasley
817-657-3044.

We do not have credit card payment processing so only cash or checks will be accepted. We can reserve your space by email but your payment must be received by at least Friday, Nov. 12th.

Checks, money orders and reservation information can be mailed to:
Equine Times
P. O. Box 431
Springtown, TX 76082

Those who have not yet have the opportunity to hear Malcolm speak should take this opportunity to do so at an affordable price. The facility is interesting and folksy and the vendors already range from rustic furniture to saddlemaker/leather craftsman to Joanne's herbal solutions.

To find out more pick up a copy of the Equine Times in north central Texas feed stores and watch for information in the November edition of The Home Gardener magazine.

See you there!
Kathe

The event will take place at Hay USA off Hwy. 180 outside Weatherford.
Yikes! I can't believe I left that out! Call at 469-556-5862 for more information or pm/email me direct.

We have had several phone calls asking if we are daunted by the weather and the answer is NO, NO,NO. We'll have it rain or shine.

We'll be there and there is cover for the afternoon sit-down sessions with Malcolm and Walt. Malcolm is bringing books to sell & sign. Joanne has withdrawn due to her schedule but we have 3 excellent speakers who will be taking her place so plenty of information on herbs. The many interesting vendors are all bringing covers for their locations. It's a charming place and you'll enjoy it.

See you Saturday!
Kathe
