i need help to get rid off this blue herion that is perched in my tree above our koi pond evey morning now for a week see it on and off all day and night flys away comes back has been killing our koi hung a halloween witch last weekend not working hung prowler owl not working shot guns not allowed in city. my yard is all organic and has been for 7 years any help thanks

I had the same problem a couple of months ago. I caught him repeatedly perched on the roof, hovering over the koi pond. They sure are BIG up close!

I had a 25' length of triangular flags on a rope, and criss-crossed it over the pond several directions, and left it up for a few weeks. Chased him off, either from the fluttering flags or the danger of tangling his wings in the rope.

I also think a less visible solution (and less likely to freak out the fish) would be to criss-cross fishing line over the pond in a grid.
