I'm not sure about when it's just a mo. old but usually the consensus is to mow bermuda under 1".

If you get a reel mower, you can go from 1/16 to 1/2 inch with great results. When mowed like that it will look like a putting green. Anyone can do that at home with a reel mower.

Thanks for your ideas on bermuda height, we are near a 100% organic golf course and they keep their greens beautiful.
