hello,

is it too late for the corn gluten meal to work as a pre emergent in the north texas (south fort worth) area?

would it be more cost effective to instead use another type of organic fertilizer this late? i guess my question is as far as the pre emergent benefits of CGM do all the weeds germinate at once or what? Or am I too late for an organic fertilizer altogether?

Thanks
TC

CGM will work at any time of the year. What you need to realize is that it only works as a pre-emergent. If the weeds have already germinated, the CGM will fertilize them. One of many good things about organic fertilizer is that you can apply at any time of year. As far as CGM for a fertilizer, I think it is too expensive.
