Dallas, TX Oak Cliff Hello, I've just had a new Zoysia sod lawn installed in my back yard. It has been in for a few months. I have an abundance of these weeds. They all sprouted up between the seams of the sod pieces. They are rosette shaped and pretty easy to pull up with a single taproot. They are starting to flower. They get anywhere from an inch or so to about 10" diameter at most. When they flower they send up spindly stems, teeny white flowers and make bean-like pods. I've never seen them before. Could they have been brought in with the sod? I also had St. Augustine sod installed in the front yard, but none of these weeds appeared there. I'm not too worried since they are easy to pull, and I think they will get crowded out or die off. But I have searched and searched and can't find anything. I thought they might be in the mustard family until I saw the pods. Anyone know?
