I planted an herb bed this spring and have not had good luck with seed germination. I'm afraid most of them got washed away due to a heavy rain and no gutters. There is an area with quite a few plants coming up, but they don't look like what I remember planting there. Any help identifying this?

Looks like some variety of evening primrose.

Definitely a primrose; Oenethera of some sort. Not sure you planted it though.
