hullo,
i am new to the forum. i planted crook neck and zucchini. i have had great yield. now, i see the leaves looking powdery whitish. i don't over water. i have new dirt i got from a farm in june that had manure in it. a special veggie garden blend. the squash, and zucchini look fine, and still kicking out fruit. does anyone know what i could be doing that is turning the leaves this funny color?
also planted peppers, and only one pepper per plant. weird. my tomatoes are doing great. had a great crop of broccoli and collard greens, but the cabbage is funky looking. the bottom leaves yellow, but the root seems okay.
any ideas what to do for next season?
thanks,
jacqueline :D

Are you regularly feeding the plants a diluted foliar/soil application of a compost tea recipe, or maybe seaweed tea, or fish emulsion?

The white stuff sounds like powdery mildew. You can use baking soda in water and spray it with a pressure sprayer, or potassium bicarb (I think I'm correct on that one).
