We are in the process of moving to organic coastal hay/fields. We have not put any chemical on it for about 18 months. Any suggestions of what to do now. Is this extreme cold going to hurt our organic program and if so is there anything we need to do?

Healthier soil resulting from your organic program should help protect all the plants from cold stress. Keep the soil moist at least once a month during the winter to help with that.

However the laminating process allows timber, a generally environmentally benign material, to be used for much longer spans, heavier loads and complex shapes.
