I was reading in today's newsletter about the use of mulch. We have a recycling center that has shredded tree trimmings that I would like to use. We have had some oak wilt in our area and I was wondering if by using this mulch I might run the risk of giving oak wilt to my red oaks. Is there a danger there :?:

The firewood link was very helpful. Seems like it is OK to use any tree trimmings. Thanks.

The best is native trimmings from your yard or neighborhood.
