Strange situation with my backyard potted hosta. I have a wide variety of other flowers all in the same area, but only the hosta is being chewed on. It was gorgeous earlier this spring, but over the last few weeks, I have noticed its leaves are shredded from the outside tips inward toward the central base of the plant. What should I use on it?

Please tell us a bit about your yard. What kind of bed preparation did you do in the yard and in the hosta bed? What else is planted that isn't being eaten? Can you post a photo of the plants, and do you see any pests nearby? Have you gone out at night with a flashlight to look at the plants?

Sounds like the same problem I have, Roly Polys or pill bugs. I've watched them on multiple occasions eat my hosta leaves. I just ordered Sluggo Plus because it was recommended a few posts ago.

You don't need very much of the Sluggo. I tend to use it more around my strawberries to beat the bugs to the fruit.
