I opened the back door this morning to enjoy the cool, fresh air after last night's storms. One of the local mockingbirds is imitating the call of a Greater Yellowlegs. Wonder how he picked that up in North Texas?

As I am writing this a flock of Cedar Waxwings just swooped by.
