I regularly take the leftover coffee and pour in a pitcher, add some water, and pour the diluted coffee solution on trees and plants in the yard. We also save the old coffee grounds and usually put in the composter or toss into the flowerbeds / garden. Can leftover iced tea (Lipton's for example), and the tea from those tea bags be used in a similar manner with a similar benefit to the plants?

Thanks,

Phil J.

Yes, anything you are eating or drinking can be used. If it's not OK for the soil and plants, you sure shouldn't have eating it!
