I have a holly bush, the one witht he prickly pointy big leaves.
I just noticed that over half the leaves have tips that are shriveled and black. It's almost like somebody burned the tips off.

Is this disease?
Over watering?

It always helps if you can post photos - show us the whole tree (include photos of the ground around it and the base of the tree at the flare), a close up of some of the leaves, etc. How old is the tree? How much do you water? Is your yard organic?

Could have occurred during the last really hard freeze or 2. Look at the new growth, does it look ok?
