 Post subject: Skim Milk?

I just read that adding a cup of Skim Milk to foliar sprays will help with fungus problems. How does that work I know the Hort. Corn Meal works and why but how does Skim Milk work? :?:

All milk products are excellent fungal foods for teas to help breed certain beneficial fungi that eat and destroy the bad fungal diseases on plant foliage or around plant roots in the soil.
