Lime Sulfur
Q: Lime-sulfur was recommended as a spray treatment for preventing black rot and other mildew problems with grapes. Is lime-sulfur an organic solution? D. M., Denton
A: It’s too toxic for my taste. We now much better tools for fighting fungal diseases – cornmeal and garlic tea in the soil along with aerated compost tea spray will pretty much control any soil or plant disease.
