Keep Bermuda Grass In It's Place
Bermuda grass can be kept out of raised beds by digging a 3-inch ditch around the edges or by layering dry molasses, compost, cardboard or newspaper, and shredded native tree trimmings before filling the bed. This technique also prevents other weeds from spreading into beds.
