In Howard's Garden Cleavers/Bedstraw (Galium aparine)
This short video takes a look at a common early-spring weed taking up a lot of space in many gardens. Galium aparine is in the madder (coffee) family and has many common names (bedstraw, stickyweed, catchweed, and more). The plant is notable because of the Velcro-like stems sticking to fabric, shoes, and more. This plant is edible, for the curious, and is easily removed from the garden.
