HABIT
: Some bloom in early summer, others in late summer. Lily like flowers in white, pink, and rose. Clumping perennial with long stalks, 4”-6” lily-shaped, fragrant flowers. Thick fleshy roots from large bulbs.
CULTURE
: Plant in spring or fall in rich, healthy soil. Flowering is more prolific if clumps are left undisturbed for several years.
USES:
Perennial garden, bold foliage texture.
PROBLEMS
: Slugs and snails.
NOTES
