Knockout is a hybrid rose that is easy to grow and as a result has been grossly overused. That’s one of the reasons it has become the most common rose to become infected with rose rosette…. Although there is a cure for the disease, I would not plant many, if any, of this rose. If you do, mix it up and plant several different varieties for interest and good healthy biodiversity.
