Looking for a new home: Duke

Meet Duke, a quiet gentle soul who is a black and white mixed breed (looks like some boxer and pitbull) guy who is great on a leash. At two years old and 58-pounds he is full grown. He would be happy in a home that isn’t too loud or too busy, no information about how he is with other dogs or with children. As an SPCA of Texas Longtime Lovable—a pet who has been in the shelter more than 60 days—Duke’s adoption fee is FREE! Meet Duke today at the Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Dr, 75212), which is open every day from Noon to 6 p.m. Duke is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. https://spca.org/adoptable/duke/
Good news – Sully, Cupid, and Maxine were adopted. Pecan, Theodore, and Alexa are still waiting for their forever homes.
Still looking for a new home: Pecan

Meet Pecan, a two-year-old mixed breed pooch who is happiest with people and loves going for walks (no news about how he is with other dogs). At 39 pounds he is probably at his full size. His coat is an interesting scruffy pale body with Blue heeler face mask and alert ears. He’s described as a happy cuddlebug with goofy energy. Pecan is neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is free. Visit any day from noon to 6pm. See his profile at https://spca.org/adoptable/pecan/.
Still looking for a new home: Theodore

Meet Theodore, a gentleman who is 10-years-old and needs a foster-to-adopt home for now. At 61 pounds with a slick tan and white coat, Theodore is a pit-mix with soulful eyes and alert uncropped ears. He loves people and the SPCA says he’s “a mature fella so full of love to give. Still curious. Still hopeful. Still waiting for someone to say yes. Meet this beautiful fella today at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Dr, 75212), which is open every day of the week from Noon to 6 p.m. Theodore is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.” The foster part of his arrangement is because he needs to be neutered before adoption and everything you need for his care will be free. As an SPCA of Texas Senior Sweetheart—a pet who is age 6 or older—Theodore’s adoption also will be FREE! See his profile at https://spca.org/adoptable/theodore/
Still looking for a new home: Alexa

Meet Alexa, a chocolate-brown mixed breed soulful senior who is almost 12-years old. We don’t know why this older sweetheart has ended up in a shelter at this advanced age, but this well-behaved smart girl deserves a family for the rest of her life. At 59-pounds she loves people and is a good-sized snuggler, is friendly and gentle and walks well on a leash. She gets long well with other dogs and loves car rides and is fond of water. Like all shelter pets at the SPCA of Texas, Alexa has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on her vaccinations. See her any day of the week at the SPCA of Texas Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Dr, 75212), every day of the week from Noon to 6 p.m. She qualifies for the Seniors for Seniors program (any adult age 60 and older can adopt a shelter pet age 6 and older for free!) Her profile can be seen at the SPCA website.
Thank you for your support
